it is under the velocity comp commnets
:
Wait up, i can't stop with just k, I need to reply to this even though me and opie have both privately discussed this and have moved on. But since this was posted 2 days ago and is still fresh, it needs to be addressed. I now understand what you and peg mean by web standards....I asked if you had talked to greg because you and him both said the same thing...which I now know because you guys follow the rules...that is cool and I understand the rules a little better now, which helps me alot.
The reason I posted it was because I knew not everyone hates buttons, I wanted objective opinion not clouded by personal opinions of likes and dislikes, had to be sure......
We have discussed the layouts personally and I have a better understanded of layout design, a. from opie and b. from greg
and c. the most was learned through online research and taking time to read and understand better the whys, which are not usually explained by people when you ask there opinions. Not the thoughts but the whys, how it works.
This got me thinking about why I am actually doing comps and design work period.......And what I discovered, was that I was in the search for the truth of website development and the process included in it.
If you don't know me well....I can explain myself to most people, especially creative people, as the tie wearing, smiling and firing, corporate stereotype. I love sales and marketing, I love business, the act of business, the structure of business, I loooooovvvvvveeeee commerce and economics......how money is made and the things that take place in order for it to be made.
I am the cooperate guy that every cubicle guy hates.....yes , i play golf and racquetball too...hahahhahaha......
BUT
I did an experiment, and found that most creative types, ie.. web designers, web developers, programmers, network administrators, tech support peeps, etc etc etc.....DO NOT LIKE TO SPEAK TO OTHER HUMANS OUTSIDE OF THERE REALM OF PROFESSION...unless you send them an e-mail or instant message them...
The problem I find with this is that clients and people, still enjoy and care about talking to people face to face, hear their voices and shake their hands. So what I decided to do, is not ask the client or the creative types to change, but to find a way to be a better buffer between the two. What this has allowed me to do is to better understand the process in web design and setup. What I have found is that it is not easy, it is a long drawn out process. It is work, hard work, and much thought is involved and that designers of any kind or gender that are good at there craft should be respected and given the credit they deserve. I have learned this from opie, peglegpete, MajorHavoc, and all the other friends I have come to love and respect here in the deviantart forums......So you need to give yourselves credit for your trade and be proud. This not the ramblings of a salesman, but the comments of a man who runs two companies simultaneously..I am a CEO..A husband...A dad..A friend...and above all.....A human beggining to understand better the dynamics of human relationships and through my contact with all of you, a better understanding of an extremely misunderstood industry......Thanks again..
P.S. opie asked me to stop doing comps.......but i still don't fully understand the concept of listening to him fully yet..lol..lol..
I will probably stick to marketing material and advertising for a while, that is really my bread and butter.......LATER

but malta doesnt rock at all. Contrary: as an Island, they don't have sweet-water sources, forcing them to either import (import taxes make alcohol about 160% more expensive than i.e. Germany), or they filter the salt out of seawater.
You've noticed that every beverage there (Cola, Beer, etc.) tastes like salt? It's horrible!
